In my business I am seeing so many pop up fast fashion clothing that is made of plastic and other fabrics that aren't natural and not good for us to have next to our skin.
Fast fashion is overwhelming the landfills and donation stores. We are all guilty of it and we love to get something new and fun to wear.
Let's get back to basics and read the labels of these clothes we are putting next to our skin. Here is some interesting information about the frequency of fabrics.
A study by Dr Heidi Yellen suggests that the fabrics in our wardrobe influence our wellbeing in ways we never imagined. Grounded in bioenergetics, the study reveals that everything vibrates at its own unique frequency. Yellen found that everything, including fabrics, has a unique vibrational signature that can influence our energy.
The frequency of a fabric can be measured in megahertz (mHz) and is said to influence a person's energy and health. Here are the frequencies of some common fabrics:
Linen: A natural fiber with a frequency of 5,000 mHz, which is 50 times the natural frequency of the human body. Linen is said to have healing properties.
Organic cotton: Has a frequency of 100 mHz, which is similar to the human body's frequency. Organic cotton is considered a sustainable and harmonious choice.
Conventional cotton: A natural fiber with a frequency of around 2,500 mHz, which is lower than organic cotton due to the chemicals and pesticides used in its cultivation.
Silk: Has a frequency of 5,000 mHz, the same as linen. However, some say that silk's frequency is actually lower due to modern processing methods.
Polyester: A synthetic fiber with a frequency of around 10 mHz.
Nylon: A synthetic fiber with a frequency of around 200 mHz.
Spandex: A synthetic fiber with a frequency of around 100 mHz.
Acrylic: A synthetic fiber with a frequency of around 150 mHz.
Rayon: A synthetic fiber with a frequency of 0 mHz.
According to some, fabrics with higher frequencies are better for human vitality and healing, while fabrics with lower frequencies may contribute to or exacerbate illness.
Something to think about....
